With the famous Glacier Express, which runs from St. Moritz to Zermatt, you can admire the unique landscape and through the panoramic sightseeing windows immerse yourself in nature’s beauty. Whether along the Albula Line with its viaduct and spiral tunnels or past the Rhine Gorge – this trip is a unique experience. Panoramic journey across Swiss Alps
From Zermatt and the Matterhorn, this panoramic journey leads over 291 bridges and through 91 tunnels across the Swiss Alps to St. Moritz. The Glacier Express winds through remote valleys, past rugged rock faces, idyllic mountain villages and through the Rhine Gorge – Switzerland’s Grand Canyon. It climbs with ease to the highest point on the Oberalp Pass, at 2033 metres.
Thanks to large panorama windows, an unobstructed view of the breath-taking landscape is guaranteed. Delicious meals for your palate are provided onboard, freshly prepared in the galley and served to your seat.
Arrival In St. Moritz
The glamorous St. Moritz is where the famous Skelaton-Cresta-Run originated and is still the only place where you can watch or partake in this exciting, terrifying and unique toboggan race. In winter St. Moritz is considered one of the best areas in the world for skiing.
